We produce steel castings ranging from 5 to 6,000 lbs. We engineer, test and build prototypes as well as make and store patterns. Our customer’s tooling is a big investment, and we take care of that investment.
We work with these types of steel:
- Carbon
- Stainless
- Heat resistant
- Low and high alloy
- Low temperature
We also cast these metals
- Hastelloy
- Inconel
- Duplex and super duplex
- Nickel
- Austenitic
- Martensitic
We operate two, no-bake foundries with arc furnace melting, and support our molding lines attrition and reclaiming capabilities. We have both arc and induction melting furnaces. We have core making facilities, casting and finishing areas and an array of analytical equipment for all of our castings.
We offer pattern services for all of our customers, this includes layout and fabrication as well as maintaining and safely storing existing patterns in our designated storage building.
We recycle millions of pounds of scrap steel annually.
We have access to high-grade steel reclaimed from railcar components.
This steel scrap is stronger, easier to work with and ideal for quality castings.
Our metallurgical heat treating techniques include annealing, precipitation strengthening, tempering, carburizing, normalizing and quenching.
